Pricing Breakdown:
- Beef Carcass - $5.50 /lb
- Processing - $1.50 /lb
Your cow will weigh on average of 850lbs, so you’ll be paying the hanging cost plus processing cost for your quarter, which will be approximately 200 to 215 lbs, resulting in about 150lbs of take home product.
Your take home cuts will look like the following:
- Steaks - Ribeye , Strips
- Chuck steaks and roasts
- Brisket, 1/2
- Roasts
- Bones for soup or stock
- Ground Beef, Bulk
